Processing arrangement and material model of multi-position progressive stamping The material used for the soleplate component part (as shown in Fig.1) was St52 steel, and the thickness was 2.5 mm; double-row 13 positions progressive strip layout with intermediate carrier was adopted (as shown in Fig.2)[5,6].
The results show that materials at areas A and B bear the tensile stresses; as shown in Fig.13(f), severe thickness thinning and even cracking occur at area B due to the material of area B is located at the gap between the punch and die, and both the deformation degree and work-hardening effect are low; materials at area C and E bear the tensile stress; the first main stresses of area D is the tensile stresses, and the second main stresses of that area is the compressive stresses; wrinkling occurs at area E due to the compressive stress; besides, material at area E bears the compressive stress along the thickness direction due to the blank holder.
(2) For deep drawing of automotive soleplate component part, the materials at the round corners area B connected the top platform and side-wall bear the maximum tensile stresses, severe thickness thinning and even cracking easily occur at area B

Biomass generally can be defined as hydrocarbon materials that consist of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen with sulfur in less propotions with energy from biomass can contribute significantly towards reducing greenhouse gases emission [2].
Development of pulp production and extraction of value added chemical from waste materials can reduce Malaysia’s reliance on imported pulp and paper product as well as petrochemicals products by taking into account of large avaibility of empty fruit bunches in Malaysia.
As oil palm waste materials potentially can be improved to produce a variety of value added products, its potential to be one of source of renewable energy seems to be more promising by considering the current energy crisis from fossil based sources [11].
