Introduction AS the main insulation material of some key DC power equipment, oil-paper is vital important for the operation security.
The surface roughness refers to the micro-geometry characteristic composing of the smaller spacing and peak-valley on the sample surface, which has been widely used in metal material, biomedicine, mining, papermaking, archaeological and many other fields.
Conclusions In this paper, the AFM was used to observe the changes taken place on the micro structure of paper after thermal ageing, and a 3-D surface roughness analysis on the AFM image was presented, the conclusions were as follows, (1) In addition, AFM can observe the micro surface and the structures of molecule of the insulating material, this good method that should be widely used in the electrical power material researches

The γ based titanium aluminides, which are potential light high-temperature structural materials, are ordinarily brittle at room temperature.
Experimental Procedures The starting materials for the alloys were sponge titanium (99.65%), aluminum (99.99%), vanadium (99.99%), chromium (99.99%), zirconium (99.99%), molybdenum (99.99%) and boron (99.99%).

Since J.J.Campbell et al.[15] established the well known partial wave method to estimate optimal crystal cuts and propagation directions for excitation of piezoelectric surface waves, many research groups[2, 16-19] have predicated the SAW properties of various piezoelectric materials by using this method, the theoretical results agree well with the experimental measurements.
We derive the material constants at different temperature according to the Taylor series expansion[20]: (9) Where and represent various material constants at room temperature and other temperature, andrepresents the first and second order temperature coefficient of the material constants respectively.
So we chose the reported material data which agree with the experiments very well[12], including elastic, piezoelectric, dielectric, temperature coefficients and material density.
