However, in contrast to conventional steel alloys, there exist little design and manufacturing experience in the heavy fabrication industry with large welded structures made of titanium materials.
In contrast to conventional steel and aluminum alloys, there exist a series of design and fabrication issues in the manufacturing industry with welded structures made of titanium materials.
The current work used two titanium materials for the plate.
In order to establish the “stress-free” lattice parameter, d0, “comb” reference specimens were produced for both titanium materials.

Porous materials supported Pd or Pd-Ag inorganic composite membranes are focused on for hydrogen separation and purification due to their large H2 permeability, high H2 selectivity and low noble metal consumption.
This is because osmosis pressure is only related to the solute concentration but not related to the properties of solute and membrane materials and its introduction to the electroless plating process only change the mass transfer rate and direction of the metal ions but not the compositions of the metal alloy.
