Abstract.
The material of the barrel is steel, the parameters of the material are shown in Diagram 1.
Parameters of the Barrel Material Density(kg/m3) Elasticity Modulus/Pa NUXY Steel 7850 0.3 Considering the feature of the structure and material of the barrel, the solid 187 element (Tet 10node) was selected to mesh the mode of the barrel with the method of free mesh while setting the edge of the element as 4.5mm.The meshed mode of the barrel is shown in Figure 2 [4].

Monte Carlo method was also used to simulate nanometric cutting of single crystal materials at conventional cutting speeds [2].
As shown in fig.1 (a), the workpiece material is ideal single crystal copper, and the size of workpiece is 40nmx10nmx5nm.
