Because of the low price, production simplicity and good mechanical properties, they are the most often used reinforced materials.
They are in a great demand in transportation, energy/electronic and other sectors as lightweight, dielectric structural materials.

Characteristic of water based capillary inorganic water proofer
Water based capillary inorganic water proofer is a new type of waterproof impervious materials.
Cement-based permeable crystallization waterproofing materials, cement-based permeable non-crystallization waterproof materials and water based capillary inorganic water proofer were used by lijin Xing, through freeze-thaw test in Nacl liquor and Na2SO4 liquor, the results showed that these waterproofing materials could improve the anti sulfate and anti chloride freeze thawing durability of concrete, and water based inorganic water proofer is better than the others[12].

Abstract: In this paper, using tetrabutyl titanate as source, H2O2(30%) as solvent, synthesis of titanium dioxide sol was achieved by sol-gel method.
The semiconductor TiO2 has proven to be an excellent photocatalyst material on which many organic substrates have been shown to be oxidatively(in some cases reductively) degraded and ultimately mineralized completely under UV irradiation [4-5].
In acidic solution, the concentration of H+ is large, relatively concentration of OH- is very low, the corresponding raw materials that can generate hydroxyl radicals will decrease.
