Now a variety of hollow structure of materials have been prepared, these materials are ceramic materials (silicate carbide, nitrides, etc.), metal, magnetic materials and semiconductor materials (sulfur compounds, titanium dioxide, etc.), metal oxide, etc.
Moreover, in reaction engineering, the cavity of the magnetic granule with hollow micro/nanostructures are used as a small reactor cavity, so the chemical reaction is astricted in a small area.
