Sintered diamond composites are very effective when used to cut and/or machining non-metallic materials, brittle and hard, such as ceramics, rocks, concrete, glass, etc.
These materials are typically produced in most by the techniques of Powder Metallurgy and cover a wide range of applications, such as stone processing, civil engineering, etc.
Conclusions Yield stress can be considered an important parameter to be evaluated in this study because in practice, adopting a pre-strain of 0.2%, it practically coincides with elastic limit of the material, parameter essential in any engineering project.
