Experimental facilities The experiments were performance using an aluminum-ammonia heat pipe with a axial length is 750 mm, the material of grooved pipe is aluminum alloy 6063 and the working fluid is high pure ammonia (99.9999%).
Heat transfer coefficients against the working temperatures Given the fact that the equivalent heat transfer coefficients are lower relatively when working temperatures are higher than 25 ℃, and the high working temperatures require higher material mechanical strength and temperature resistance, 20 ℃ is chosen to be the most appropriate working temperature.
