The reason is that the NOx emission is far over the international level due to few denitration technology applications.
The anhydrous ammonia usually is diluted with steam to make aqueous ammonia solution, which is injected through a series of catalyst beds including titanium dioxide-based catalyst supported by honeycomb-monolith-form ceramic materials to react with NOx in an SCR reactor.
