The influence of ferrite materials to NFC antenna ZHAO QING1, a ,LIANG Di-fei1, b,LI DONG-YUE1, c 1State key Laboratory of Electronic Thin Films and Intergrated Devices, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu 610054, China; aqz15108306167@163.com, bdfliang@uestc.com,clidongyue1989@126.com Keywords: Ferrite Sheet ;NFC Antenna ;Frequency Drift;Impedance; Abstract The electromagnetic (EM) shielding sheets, ferrite materials, ofen sandwiched between NFC (Near Field Communication) tag and metal to increase its detection distance.
However, the addition of this ferrite materials could affect the NFC antenna other performance at the same tine, especially the impedance and working frequency.
In this paper and investigation, we proved that ferrite materials have an abvious influence on NFC antenna impedance and working frequency via HFSS and ADS simulation.
Sodor B[6]did some research about establish a non-contact university examination by NFC technology. And ferrite materials are used between between NFC antenna and metal to increase its detection distance[7].
And 1of the model is dielectric material, 2 is the antenna , 3 is magnetic material. The antenna parameters we select are as follows: long 44 mm ,wide 42 mm , line wide 1 mm , line spacing 0.5 mm.Considering the influence of magnetic materials for antenna parameters, we sets the dielectric to be fixed 4 (FR materials), 0.001.The thickness of magnetic base plate is set to 0.15 mm, the thickness of the dielectric material is set to 0.8 mm (close to the mobile phone shell thickness).

Introduction Nanometer materials possess fancifully physical and chemical properties different form bulk materials due to the quantum size effect resulted from the small particle diameter together with large surface area [1].
Nanometer materials have been attracted much attention since they exhibit the excellent performance in the electricity, magnetics and photocatalytic area.
It is well known, CdS is an important nanometer semiconductor materials with band gap of 2.42 eV.
