The phenomenon is due to the LED junction temperature increases lead to band gap shrinkage, and the result of the role of spontaneous polarization and piezoelectric polarization in Ⅲ-nitride semiconductor materials.
III group nitride represented by GaN-based materials has direct band gap, widely emission spectrum cover the entire visible light spectrum, high breakdown voltage, chemical stability, and is extensively applied in the High-power LED in recent years.
