Clay catalysts are interesting materials not only because of the low cost of their raw materials, but also because they are less harmful to the environment [4-10].
Materials and Methods Materials Green hard clay was purchased from Bentonisa, Boa-Vista region in Paraíba state, Brazil and the refined soybean oil was obtained from Soya.
Two the samples present type IV isotherms, characteristic of mainly mesoporous materials, with type H3 hysteresis loops, corresponding to slit-like pores [18].
Differential pore size distributions of the materials used in this study are illustrated in Fig. 2b.
