Application of Group Technology in Mechanical Processing

Abstract:

The principle of group technology is presented in this paper. Similar machining pieces are grouped and processed according divided groups for enlarging processing batch in multi-variety parts production. In order to obtain synthetic economy results, group technology should be overall implemented in multi-species and small-batch productive system by adopting high effective processing method or equipment to get better economy efficiency which is able to obtain from large-batch machining processes. Group technology optimizes the processing subsequence of parts as well as improves production and economy efficiency which is an advantage for enterprises to develop forward professional production.
