Introduction The mining dump trucks are mainly used in large surface mines, and small amount of them used in large quarries and construction site, and match with the shovel loaders, electric shovel and excavators, roundtrip driving and transport materials such as minerals or coal, and it's the type of off-highway trucks [1].
According to statistics materials [2], each year, in surface mines and quarries, there is an average of five fatalities occurring in the world involving mining trucks, and the accidents that do not caused casualties, to caused damaged equipment and property losses are countless.
Although Caterpillar and Komatsu use DISPATCH real-time monitoring system, GPS, the key information and safety technology to develop intelligent unmanned mining dump trucks, and test run successful in some mines and the quarries, but because the technology remains incomplete and initial cost investment and daily maintenance cost is too expensive, so we has not use widely all over the world.
