Key words: silicon steel, continuous annealing, carbon sleeve, causes for buildup formation
Abstract: Based on the investigation and study of the topography and composition of the buildups, combined with production process of silicon steel, the major causes of forming buildups of carbon sleeve are analyzed from the factors such as the quality of carbon sleeve, furnace atmosphere, dew point, adjusting steel roll, intermediate steel roll, running speed of carbon sleeve and so forth.
Introduction Annealing furnace is the center of continuous annealing production line for silicon steel strip and key equipment in heat processing for silicon steel.
Generally speaking, graphitization degree of carbon sleeve is more than 60% and carbon sleeve in itself is porous material.
Luo: China Surface Engineering, (2000), p.42

Introduction When developing new dental restorative materials, manufacturers must be able to predict the properties of new materials and their performance in the oral environment.
Also, dental materials are tested to predict the wear performance of new materials before launching to a competitive market [44].

For those processes where materials properties are a strong function of
temperature, it is challenging to provide equivalent material.
The majority of the industry has settled on hafnium oxide based materials deposited by either metal-organic CVD (MOCVD) or atomic layer deposition (ALD).
film stoichiometry must be controlled as well as, if not better than, the previous generation's oxynitride materials.
