For the complexity of the problem and the shortcomings of existing research, the paper puts forward a new complex multi-objective and multi-constraint method to solve the high-speed transmission helical gear optimization problem by using variable-grain strategy [8] from coarse to fine and stepwise to refinement after considering the impact of the key parameters on the noise and ensuring the helical gear’s strength.
The material is 30CrMnT and the accuracy class is 7.

Given the large number of parameters that can affect cutting and the complexity of the problem, we tested the materials by varying only those parameters which most affect the cut: linear cutting speed (m/min) and cutting depth (mm).

A kinematic analysis of video footage taken for this purpose was used to identify the key parameters of this phenomenon.
Materials and Methods The vehicle used for this study is a Traxxas E-Maxx Brushless Model 3908 (Fig. 1a), a 520mm long, 5.2 kg radio-controlled truck capable of reaching velocities of approximately 30 m/s.
The image sequences captured with the high speed camera were imported in Vannier-Photolec's MotionTrack video analysis software for tracking the key points on the vehicle.
