The phenolic compounds have been listed in blacklist of 129 kinds of priority control pollutants by the USA national environmental protection, the wastewater of hydroxybenzene is listed as one of the key solution harmful wastewater in our water pollution control[2].
The activated carbon is raw material sufficient, high safety, acid and alkali resistance, heat resistance, insoluble in water and organic solvents, easy to regeneration and other advantages, and is a kind of environment friendly adsorbent, it has been widely used in chemical, environmental protection, food processing, metallurgy, medicine refined, military chemical protection, and other fields[3].

Materials and Methods 1.1 Testing materials Testing sample: the concrete paved inside the chromate production workshop in Beihai Chromate Plant was severely contaminated by Cr; the study took the concrete as object and sampled at 5 different locations; the collected concretes was dried in the air naturally and samples of 5 different sizes were fabricated by the crushing with 20, 50, 80, 100 and 150 mesh screens; the particle sizes were 0.31-0.87mm, 0.19-0.31mm, 0.15-0.19mm, 0.11-0.15mm and <0.11mm; sample of the same size were mixed uniformly and stored properly for later use.

Groundwater in arid region plays an important role in ensuring the ecosystem stability of desert and oasis and is very important for maintaining the natural vegetation growth [2-4]; a green corridor with the length up to 436km has been built at present for the shelterbelt ecological engineering of Tarim desert highway, which is the longest artificial shelterbelt system that passes through the flowing desert in the world.
One of the key scientific problems for achieving the goal of water-saving irrigation is to study the formation and movement pattern of the water in vadose zone.
Materials and Methods In order to achieve the goal of water-saving irrigation by utilizing effectively the burial depth of groundwater in the areas where the groundwater resources are relatively abundant, another 3 water supply schemes for saving water resources are proposed on the basis of original irrigation system of shelterbelt engineering.
Therefore, on the premise of trusting the statistical analysis results, adopting the irrigation system of Area IV in the whole irrigated area can at least save more than 50% of water resources as well as corresponding manpower and material resources without taking the plant height growth of Tamarix chinensis into consideration.
