Methodology for Calculating Stability Factor of Same Cross-Sectional CFST Laced Columns Stability factor is mainly affected by slenderness ratio and material capability of hybrid column.
Elastic material properties(elastic modulus of steel=2.13×105Mpa, Poisson,s ratio=0.2, elastic modulus of elasticity of concrete=3.0×104 MPa.) were assigned to the respective elements.

The liquefiable soil can generate pore-water pressure during ground shaking, and it leads to ground material movement and loss of soil bearing capacity.
However, the nonlinear effect plays an important role on site acceleration response and soil-structure interaction, and the complexity for different materials make the prediction difficult.

According to the design requirement, the material of the driving rod is 45 steel, the density is 7.85 kg/m3, the elastic modulus is 2×105 MPa, the Poisson's ratio is 0.3, the yield stress is 250 MPa, and the yield strength is 460 MPa.
And the material needs to be linear elastic, using small displacement theory, undamped and has no exciting force.
