ABSTRACT
Fuel cycle cost of sodium cooled fast reactors (SFRs) is strongly dependent on the in-reactor performance of core structural materials, i.e., cladding and wrapper tube materials of the fuel subassembly, which are subjected to intense neutron irradiation during service, leading to unique materials problems like void swelling, irradiation creep and helium embrittlement.
Therefore, the materials used for the fuel subassemblies of SFRs should have good elevated temperature mechanical properties and high resistance to irradiation damage especially void swelling [1].
It is widely acknowledged that the cladding and wrapper materials, rather than the fuel, limit the achievable fuel burnup in SFRs.
In the light of the current understanding of void swelling mechanisms and the materials development activities worldwide, IGCAR has drawn up a roadmap for development of advanced core structural materials namely, the cladding and wrapper tube materials of the fuel subassembly.

The stress and deformation of fold cutter is hard to solved by mechanics of materials, for the complex structure.
Example The material of fold cutter is steel.
The maximum stress is 1.876Mpa, which is far less than the allowable stress of material.
The maximum stress is far less than the allowable stress of material in Woking condition.

Thermal insulation material is usually a light, loose, porous, small thermal conductivity.
Because of the thermal insulation material has some excellent features such as unique insulation, thermal insulation and fire safe, so, it is widely used in steel, furnaces, pipelines and chemical industry.
It wastes a lot of manpower and material resources however the process is simple.
Experiment Materials Aluminum silicate fibers, from Shandong province Zhang qiu Alert Ecological Ceramic Fiber Co, a diameter of 2~6μm which main component is Al2O3 content of ≥ 46%, Al2O3+SiO2 content of ≥ 99%, the other as ≤ 1%, long-term use temperature is 1260˚C.
