Asymmetric Reduction of Prochiral Ketones to Chiral Alcohol by Photo-biocatalysis with Microalgae Genghua Chena, Senxiang Zhangb, Qiao Huc, Xinxing Dengd, Fang Yue Zhonghua Yangf and Yali Houg College of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Wuhan 430081, China.
The chiral alcohols and other chiral intermediates are the key chiral buliding block for chiral products [1].
The asymmetric reduction reaction of the corresponding ketones to chiral alcohols catalyzed by biocatalysts, especially whole-cell, including yeast cells [2], and other microorganisms [3] and plant cells [4] has become a research hotspot of chiral material production, due to its advantages such as outstanding enantioselectivity, mild reaction conditions and environmental friendliness, and regeneration of cofactor in situ in whole cells [5].

JHC constitutive model is similar to JC (Johnson-Cook) model which is widely used in metallic materials.
However, these two models could characterize the material-damage-related constitutive behavior of such brittle materials as concrete under large strain, high strain rate and high confining stress.
After the material is damaged completely, it is assumed that the softening effect of material is so small that it could be neglected.

Due to its high activity, non-toxicity and abundance in nature (which makes it less costly), it has been touted as a promising efficient material for photocatalytic purification, especially in the field of waste water management[4].
Sol-gel is a very promising technique that has been around since the 18th century [5] and is used to fabricate thin films and synthesize powders and is widely used in photocatalysis, chemical sensors, coatings and new fiber materials[6-9].
It is known that the photocatalytic efficiency of metal oxide semiconductor grains depends on the material’s crystallinity and grain size.

With this 60-year long dataset they also detected a long-term trend of growth of Significant Wave Height along time and created Self Organized Maps (Camus et al. [5]) for key spots along the South and Central American coastline.
Materials and Methods This study addresses the application of the third generation wave model TOMAWAC (TELEMAC-Based Operational Model Addressing Wave Action Computation) to simulate the sea state over the SSBS (Fig. 1) over a period of 18 years, between 1997 and 2014, and the compression of the results to a single year in order to make it representative of the mean behavior of the waves at this location.
Allied to the analysis of the time averaged values, three key locations were selected for evaluation based on the results of the energetic power assessment of wind driven waves performed by Oleinik et al. [8].
