After acted upon by forces the resistivity of monocrystalline silicon material would change, the electrical signal for the change proportional to force could be obtained through measuring circuit.

As the post or the beam of ROPS are made by the butt-welding of thick steel plates but not section steel, material yield will occur along the welding seams where the maximum bending moment and the stress concentration are generated.
The material of ROPS and frame are Q235A and Q345C respectively.
In addition, the material model and geometric simplification used in simulation can also cause the errors.

The O- ion is a metastable state, so that it is desorbed from the material as an active oxygen species (O*) to form an oxygen vacancy.
Therefore, the observed enhancement is not owing to metal contamination which may increase oxidation rate but to the catalytic material placed apart from the SiC surface.
