This study provides useful quantitative and qualitative information for building professionals and architects in the tropics.
The interest in skylights is increasing rapidly by building professionals to determine its potential.
There are several studies conducted on the performance of skylight design especially in the tropics; Mintorogo[1] focused on sustainable energy savings from dripped-water-skylight installed in the climate of Surabaya (Java, Indonesia) to optimize the direct sunlight and daylight in a room with horizontal or slope skylights in every direction.
At the end, this research provides useful quantitative and qualitative information for building professionals and architects in the tropics especially for identifying the performance of simple skylight system.

Since the 70s and 80s of the last century(China's reform and opening up), the closed planned economy model has been broken, with the modern culture of market economy pattern, economic concepts inrush the life ,the work even the mind of each ordinary Chinese people, like a mighty flood of water gate opening .
From the late 70s to early 80s, the words industrial design began to appear in the mouth of the Professional frequently, and gradually penetrate into the lives of every Chinese.
And most industrial manufacturers do not have their own professional designers, rely on professional design services of outsourcing company when they need design.
Meanwhile, the low costs of outsourcing make the professional design company pay more energy to meet customers high requirements, the connecting work among designing, producting and promoting.
There are more than ten industrial designers in charge of designing in Goodbaby Group's design department, the equivalent of a professional company.

However, there is a lack of professional expertise, shortage of full understanding of scientific and technical requirements.
There isn't any agreement between academics and professionals that academic institutions do not equip graduates with necessary skills required to meet the requirements of R-B construction industry which highlights the need for human development.
Therefore, providing quality education and vocational training is a key driver for building national capacity and equipping professional human resources with state-of-the-art knowledge and technical skills needed to overcome, both the engineering and professional human development challenges.
Provide quality education, professional training programs and diligently engineering methods.

These measures guarantee to protect water sources effectively.
