Application of Extendable Optimal Degree Method in Evaluation of the Gun Maintenance Process Quality
Online since: March 2012
Authors: Shu Ai Wang, Feng He Tao, Xiang Hua Bai
The working procedure is the basic unit in the gun maintenance process. 5M1E (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measurement and Environment) are the six reasons leading to fluctuation of the key working procedure quality of the gun maintenance process[3].

Abstract.
These operations should waste countless financial, human, material and time.
Therefore, the planning need to consider the geography, geology, topography, hydrology, climate and other natural conditions, considering the political, economic, cultural, science and education, industry, agriculture, transportation, trade, tourism, history, current situation, social development, Rural-urban linkages, environmental protection and other aspects.

The curing age of the materials averages 17.5 days, with a standard deviation of 8.08 days, showing a considerable range in the curing periods evaluated.
The high mean value indicates that most materials used in the research exhibit good resistance to corrosion, although the wide range of values suggests variability depending on the environmental factors and material properties.

The surface layers resulting from prolonged exposure to the indoor environment and the bulk material of metal artifacts from the collection of National Museum in Gdansk are studied by means of spectroscopic techniques.
Results of the in-depth LIBS stratigraphic analysis; elemental intensities of surface deposits related to the strongest Fe line of the bulk material vs. laser pulse number: Ba and Ca (a), and C (b) Fig. 7.
However, in case of precious historical objects a rigorous requirement of non-destructive testing can disqualify this technique because of the micro-damage due to surface ablation and removal of µgrams of the investigated material.
