The key points of modeling individual tree growth are to establish topological relations between different structures and to couple the structural units among different growth models.
Materials In the paper, the data came from the Laoshan station, Maoershan Forest Center of Northeast Forestry University, ranging across 127 30 ~ 127 34 and 45 20 ~ 45 25. 15 sample plots with different ages, site conditions and densities were set as the fixed plot in the plantations of Mongolian Scots pines (7 plots set in 2002, 8 plots set in 2003).

Materials and Methods Study site and data Climatically Fuxin (121°46′N,42°09′E,166.8m) and Chaoyang (120°27′N, 41°33′E,169.9m) were characterized by semi-arid conditions with continental monsoon climate zone.
During the growing season of 2007, the ET0 was 730.5mm, the ETc was 527.1mm, During the growing season of 2008, ET0 was 635.2mm, ETc was 505.3mm, water demand peaks of corn appeared in July-August which include tasseling, flowering and silking period, and it was the key period for yield formation in which the average daily water demand (water demand strength) was bigger (4.23mm/d) than other periods.
