Jiang et al [9] have studied the cold compression behavior of Al 2124 reinforced with 20 wt% particulate SiC prepared by powder metallurgy route, stated that localized shear flow of the matrix may control the failure of the composite under compression.
It indicates that the presence of Al, TiC and Al3Ti peaks in the samples and no other noticeable diffraction peaks appear.
