Improving arc stability by addition of materials with low ionization potential to the welding electrode lead to promising new research directions.
Addition of suitable materials which could improve the arc stability could also provide a significant reduction in fumes.

The annealed microstructure and texture of any material govern its mechanical properties in composites just as much as in single-phase materials.
Second phase particles have also been found to affect the recrystallization texture of materials.

The main chemical methods are with silicate materials such as single liquid silicon and pairs of liquid silicide method, sodium hydroxide solution reinforcement method, feeding mixed method.
Other engineering materials were introduced into the loess roadbed with a certain percentage, and compacted, thereby which can eliminate the collapsibility to enhance the strength of loess.
When testing, firstly, physical and mechanical indexes of this loess were measured by testing; secondly, trying to add different types and different contents of other materials to loess (lime-cement-fly ash), and the mixture ratio of cement are 5%, 10%, 15% or 20%.
