Abstract: Main factors of the temperature control and crack prevention in arch dams are summarized.
Although there have been a large number of researches in concrete temperature control, including the mesoscopic material mechanics properties study of concrete, the numerical method of mass concrete cracking process simulation [2,3], temperature control measures optimization design theory research [4], etc.
