Ps formation energy is 6.8eV in vacuum and then 4~5eV in condensed materials.
It means that Ps formation is impossible by just placing positrons in materials.
Ps has negative work functions in many materials and then Ps prefers to stay in vacuum.
If there are holes in materials, Ps can be trapped.
The reactions of OH are very important in many researches such as the DNA damages or materials science for nuclear reactors.
