The photocatalytic activity for Cr(VI) reduction was evaluated by several batch experiments.
Comparing the BET analysis data of different catalysts in Table 1, F doping created a most positive effect on the surface modification of TiO2, which indicated the strong adsorption ability and the sufficient space for photocatalytic reaction.
The highest reduction efficiency of 90% was obtained as a result.
It is suggested that F-TiO2 has the best photocatalytic activity for Cr(VI) reduction.
The photocatalytic performance of F-TiO2 was studied via Cr(VI) reduction experiments.

It is the first time we reported (S)-1-benzyl-3-pyrrolidinol-borane which is the intermediate of the reduction with sodium borohydride-iodine system, and its spectral data (IR, 1H NMR, 11B NMR, MS spectroscopy).
The reported m.p. and specific rotation data of 3 show that in Kocalka’s preparation some epimerization occurred [3].
We studied the mechanism of the reduction and used IR spectra to study the process of the reduction and modified the reaction conditions.

The reaction was carried out under different rate of n (3): n (NaBH4): n (I2) and reaction time( data were not showed) and use IR spectra to trace the reduction.
