Abstract.
Smart materials are a group of solid-state materials whose geometric shape can be related to an energy input in the form of heat, light, electric field, or magnetic field.

In the modern society, science and technology as well as economy are developing rapidly.
We created some open laboratories with adequate laboratory equipments and experimental materials for the undergraduates to receive standard scientific research training.
Because of Sun Tao’s prominent performance in science and technology activities, he won the first Innovation Award of china’s Youth Science and Technology in 2004, as one of three winners in Tianjin.
So far Tao Sun has published over 10 papers in international academic journals, such as Hepatology, Hum Pathol, Cancer Lett, J Exp Clin Cancer Res, Cancer Biol Ther and so on.
