There is a new recovery method that discarded tires are used with soil as reinforced materials in slope, which has many merits, has not environment pollution and cost saving.
Discarded tires used as reinforced materials have distinctive mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength, good anti-friction, fine flexility and durability etc[1-4].
Discarded tires reinforced in slope and retaining wall can not only reduce environment pollution resulted from discarded tires, but also increase source of reinforced soil materials.
The significant advantage of the propose scrap tire reinforced earth system would be the reduced cost of materials and construction.

Clearly, the compressive strength of three materials increases as strain rate
increases; all three materials appear strain rate strengthening effects.
So it is important to know the damage evolution behaviors in the materials.

Abstract: TiC reinforced titanium matrix functionally graded materials (FGM) has been produced by processes of laser metal deposition through changing the powder feed rate of Ti and Cr3C2 powder.
Dry sliding wear properties of these FGM coatings have been compared with substrate materials wearing.
Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) is an advanced laser materials processing technique, which is wildly used in manufacturing, part reparation, surface modification.

umerical Simulation Model
Establishment of the Rock Material Model.
The material will be failure when the elastic deformation exceed the allowable value.
Therefore, we choose elastic strain material model to simulate rock material, which was applied in the simulation of rock fragmentation.
