Modern lightweight structures VANÍK Zsuzsanna1, a, MAGURA Martin2,b * 1,2SUT Faculty of Civil Engineering, Dep. of Steel and Timber Structures, Radlinského 11, 810 05 Bratislava, Slovakia azsuzsanna.csolleova@stuba.sk, bmartin.magura@stuba.sk, Keywords: tensegrity, lightweight structures, cable dome, tensegrity slab Abstract.
Tensegrity structures have great potential for development in modern civil engineering.
The concept of ”tensegrity“ was created by American architect and engineer Richard Buckminster Fuller by joining the words „tension“ and „integrity“.
The term Geiger dome comes from engineer David H.
Structures based on tensegrity systems a have good starting position in modern civil engineering.

Besides engineering cost, Li Qingmei [1]holds the perspective of tenders division is also one of the key factors to the quality and duration of the engineering.
What’s worse, the method has a bad influence on the whole engineering.
What’s more , tenders division affects the costs of engineering.

In the paper a concept of internal support of remote operated weapon station mounts on civil vehicle Toyota Landcruiser L200 was presented.
Introduction The structure of civil vehicles is suitable to carry out of dynamic loads induced by interaction with the ground and acceleration by propulsion and brake systems.
Such conversion is the most time-consuming activity in reverse engineering of existing objects with complicated geometry [6].

Test on Hybrid Connection for Steel Bars in Concrete Ye Tian 1,a, Peng Feng 1,b, Zhenghai Zhou 2,c, Lieping Ye1,d, and Baolin Wan3,e 1Department of Civil Engineering of Tsinghua University, Beijing, 100084, China 2China Building Technique Group Co., Ltd, Beijing 100013, China 3Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Marquette Univ., Milwaukee, WI 53201, USA atianye10@mails.tsinghua.edu.cn, bfengpeng@tsinghua.edu.cn, cdmldzh@263.net, dylp@tsinghua.edu.cn, ebaolin.wan@marquette.edu Keywords: Hybrid connection, Splice, Steel-concrete Interaction, Double-spot Welding.
The steel bar connection is an important and inevitable work in civil engineering.
The results show that the ultimate load of the new splice is sufficient for the engineering application and the failure model is reasonable.
The hybrid connection could be used in the engineering practice.
l If the welding-overlap splice method is applicated in the practical engineering, lots of economic effectiveness will be created.

The results show that CS is useful for compression of vibration data in SHM of civil structures.
For SHM of civil structures, data compression has attracted the interests of researchers in recent years.
