The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) proved that there was a monoclinic phase structure in the direction (-111).
This method has the advantage of using soft chemistry; it makes it possible to obtain very pure and stoichiometric materials.

The structure of S-BSDP was characterized with Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).
The results review that S-BSDP was synthesized successfully and its structure is similar to BSDP.
It is deserved to synthesize high molecular polymer or oligomer which contained same chemical structure as BSDP[2].
The structure of S-BDP was confirmed by FTIR.

As a solid type catalyst, this result becomes a platform to develop the flow mode reaction unit using a cordierite based structured catalyst without modifying surface chemistry of cordierite.
As a solid structure, unique advantageous of cordierite include low thermal expansion, small dielectric constant, high chemical and thermal stability [7].
Experimental Cordierite used as catalyst is a grounded form of cordierite honeycomb structure monolith.
Since cordierite was catalytically very active under microwave irradiation, the structured form of cordierite like monolith becomes potential catalyst in the flow mode system, thus the use of such structured catalyst would be a very cost effective and eco-friendly.

The micelle was embedded in PME, forming a polymer hydrogel with a jujube cake-like structure.
As well known, when the temperature is lower than the triple point of the emulsifier SL, the ordered micella structure in PME is destructed.
Obviously, the structure and the properties of the micella have more important effect on the release behaviors of indomethacin.
This preliminary investigation of PME showed that the smart PME with specific structure may be exploited to expand its application in the biomedical field.

The chemical structure, phase identification and morphology of woodceramics were investigated by FT-IR, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
The results showed that woodceramics possessed topologically homogenous structure and contained C-O-C, C–H and C =C bonds.
Compared with the spectra a(40wt%-EHL), b(20wt%-EHL), c(0 wt%-EHL), the content of EHL do not obviously change the chemical structure of woodceramics and woodceramics is a carbon material containing C–O–C, C–H and C =C bonds.

The preparation of a novel ferrofluid out of one-dimensional magnetic structures is attempted by the reverse-micelle-based wet-chemical formation of FePt nanowires and nanorods.
From colloidal chemistry [14], we know that at different concentrations, surfactant molecules tend to form micelles having different geometries, ranging from spherical to cylindrical or even ordered hexagonally packed cylindrical structures.
The resulting one-dimensional structures behave like compartments for further chemical reactions.
Thermal annealing in vacuum at and above 550°C induces a transformation to the chemically ordered face-centered tetragonal (fct) structure, as evidenced by the peak splitting and new peaks emerging in the XRD patterns at 550°C and 650°C.
