Materials used as magnetic refrigeration working substances should have excellent mechanical properties and mechanical stability.
Research on the the crystal structure of the compound and its impact on the material's properties is necessary for optimizing and enhancing the mechanical performance of (FeMn)2P1-xTx (T=As, Ge, Si).
B.Narsu et al conducted first-principles calculations on the crystal structure, mechanical properties, and mechanical performance of (FeMn)2P1-xTx (T=Ge, Si) compounds[15-16].
Point defects are an important phenomenons in the crystal structure, affecting the lattice constant, orderliness, self-diffusion, specific volume, specific heat capacity, electrical conductivity, resistance, and other physical properties.
They can alter the mechanical properties of materials, such as yield strength and toughness.

Thus, only one mechanical test that could allow to characterize all the mechanical properties could be desired.
Commonly, to characterize the mechanical properties of the material, standard uniaxial tests are used.
However different materials may have similar properties.
The engineering properties of this material are E = 190000 MPa, ν = 0.29 for elastic behavior, and K = 900 MPa, σY = 270 MPa, n = 0.25 for the hardening Swift law (see in [15]).
It appears that the choice of µ affects the vertical displacement, although the difference is not radical.

Due to quick relative velocity, alternating load, numerous slippers, and high contact pressure between the friction surfaces, the wear-out and fatigue failure constantly occurs, which is one of the key factors affecting reliability of the piston pump.
Although researchers are aware of these two effect factors, there is no further quantitative comparison of the two.

Introduction In many mechanical engineering problems, especially when they are cracked mechanical components, there are stress concentrations in the area near the crack tip, the concentrations are described through the stress intensity factor.
The hard coatings obtained by atom diffusion of boron is an alternative to increase the surface mechanical properties.
In this study the mechanical properties of hard coating Fe2B [4] were (Young’s modulus E = 290 GPa, Poisson’s ratio, ν = 0.2, yield strength =5 GPa) and Gray cast [5] (Young’s modulus E =113 GPa, Poisson’s ratio, ν = 0.3, yield strength = 325 MPa).
Thus, good reliability of the mechanical properties with hard layers is obtained and is valid for use in applications.

Influence of Direct Current Magnetron Sputtering Parameters on Electrical Properties of Copper Films Yinqun Hua1, 2, a, Ruifang Chen1, b, Zhongxiu Niu1 and Jie Yu1 1School of Mechanical Engineering, Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang 212013, P.R.
These will make properties of the Cu film very different from the block, which will lead to quantum effects of electronic transmission.
Therefore, the electrical properties study of nanoscale copper films are very important.
These factors result in the Cu films resistivity increasing.
The conclusion that the electrical properties of Cu thin film depend on deposition temperature is different from [4].

The two or more layers of the films were extruded together for improved properties such as UV-absorption, oxygen barrier properties and texture.
However, starch alone is not able to form films with satisfying mechanical properties.
Therefore, plasticizers are impregnated in starch to pretreat the starch and improve its poor mechanical properties and thermoplastic behaviour.
Mechanical Properties.
In addition, another important factor that could affect the mechanical properties of the films is the physiochemical state which includes the degree of crystalline of the polymer matrix.

Duration of carbon dioxide treatment affects both the early and long-term properties of wood-cement composites, however, there are few previous studies of carbonation of paper sludge-steel slag composites.
To optimize the carbonation process, some factors were considered as listed in Table 3.
Table 5: Physical-mechanical properties of paper sludge-steel slag composites No.
The mechanical properties of the composites were negatively affected by the paper sludge amount, but when the percentage contents of paper sludge were below than 20%, experimental values of mass gain of carbonation were slightly higher than theoretical values.

Laser metal deposition (LMD) industrial use demands research about the influence of the parameters in the built parts density, accuracy and mechanical properties.
Introduction Nowadays laser metal deposition (LMD) in industries demands research on the influence of the parameters in the built full density, accuracy, and mechanical properties.
Especially for the thin-wall parts, knowledge about the correlations between processing parameters and the final result is indispensable.[3], [4] This study explores the relation between the process parameter affecting the quality and properties of a series of AISI3016L stainless steel thin-walled parts produced by LMD.
The final equation in terms of actual factors is presented in Eq.1.
The final equation in terms of actual factors is presented in Eq. 5.

However, the materials have various mechanical, thermal properties, and varied volume, which produced severe stress concentration.
These above literatures show that the interfacial bonding is very important to the sensing properties and residual stress, which were influenced by various factors.
Thus, due to the mechanical properties' mismatch between embedded sensor and host structure, when loading is applied on the structure along the sensor's longitudinal direction, lateral mechanical response of the structure may induce further local stress on embedded FBG sensor, and hence may induce the interfacial debonding.
Therefore, based on the above analysis, the embedded sensor does not affect the mechanical properties of HFRP.
Upon simulation data analysis, on can conclude that: Due to mechanical properties mismatch between FBG and host structure, particularly their elastic modulus, embedded sensor did experience additional stress field when load was applied along sensor direction; and the more the mismatch exists, the more the additional stress field is induced.
