Abstract.
In the part above waterline of yacht composed by the sheer line, bow, stern and cabins.This part of the change will directly affect the appearance and individual character of ship type, for their processing and design is good or not, will be the main factor of the yacht model is successful or not, this had discussed in detail in the yacht aesthetic design of the past .Through the methods of inspection ship design materials and interviews related expert in the ship research institutes, we can classified the yacht form design elements and divided into both linear and body mass, as specified in Table 1 below.
Establishment of perceptual semantic space A certain amount of adjectives were collected through academic papers, journals, magazines, websites and other ways.
The follow-up work of this study is mainly on the basis of analysis of the yacht shape contour line, further analysis of the design elements of the space, and put other view, color elements, materials, texture, brand image and other elements into the research category, in order to have a more in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the yacht perceptual imagery cognitive effects.
