Abstract.
Took the homogeneity of the materials and the assumption of the isotropy into account, the boundary conditions on the symmetry surface were considered as the heat insulation boundary conditions. 9,883 nodes and 57,204 elements were divided in the finite element meshing.

Materials and Methods
The Si-50C, Si-42.9C-19.1B and Si-33.3C-44.4B (at.-%) powder mixtures were processed from elemental powders [Si (99.999 wt-%, irregular, <120 mesh), C (99.9 wt-%, irregular, <40 mesh) and B (99.5 wt-%, angular, <120 mesh)] in order to prepare the SiC compound and 8SiC:1B4C and 2SiC.1B4C (molar ratios) ceramic composites, respectively.
