Low rates of scrap and rework lead to lower costs for material, energy and personnel.
The results were then discussed and reviewed in expert interviews arranged as part of the research project with representatives from science and industry.
Poorer material quality will reduce product quality which has a negative effect on the quality target.
Higher rates of scrap and rework provoke additional material and energy costs as well as personnel costs.

This a-alumina powder is an important material in Traditional and Advanced ceramics, for high temperature applications as well as aggressive chemical environments
Aluminum oxides do not transform directly to the stable hexagonal corundum structure
(a-alumina).
The irradiation of materials with electrons, especially polymers, with the purpose of improvement of the properties of the material, is growing recently [4].
