In the past, Taiwan used to be a global manufacturing center, having earned the reputation of being the “Kingdom of Toys,” as it had the advantage of low-cost materials, human labor and factories; moreover, the working attitudes of the Taiwanese were both diligent and frugal.

The real physics involved in this heat transfer process is very complicated, the most significant aspect being unsteadiness of the heat transfer due to the temperature variation of the materials.
The properties of the materials significantly change due to even slight variation of the temperature near critical state.

This technique helps maintain the surface of various archaeological materials by removing damaging reactive corrosion products in a very selective, non-contact manner.
Due to their self-cleaning characteristics, these materials are able to eradicate unwanted surface deposits, including soot, dust, as well as air pollutants [24–26].

If the metal-lattice bond energy is the lowest, the material dissolves, and the second stage may be referred to as complex ionization.
Analysis of methods used to study pitting corrosion also shows that electrochemical methods can produced quantitative data on how various factors affect the resistance of structural materials to pitting so as to predict such resistance.
As a rule, the primary pitting-resistance indicator is the pitting potential at which the material passivity is disturbed by sufficient concentrations of Cl ions [6].
