Suppose that a solid porous substance consist of combustible and inert components, and at the same time the solid combustible material transforms into a gas in the reaction with gaseous oxidizer, so we have the following expression: Solid Fuel + (μ)Oxidizer→ (1+ μ)Gaseous Product (1) where μ is the mass stoichiometric coefficient for oxidizer.
