Introduction
In the recent years bandgap engineering of Si based materials e.g.
Diffusion of Boron and Carbon in Si-based materials The thermal diffusion of substitutional impurity atoms in Si is through point defects.
The diffusion of boron and carbon in Si-based material is through interestitials.
The out-diffusion of boron is impeded in this case in the presence of carbon in Si-based materials.
Regolini: Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology A (Vacuum, Surfaces, and Films ) Vol.13, (1995), p.2336

Materials
The starting materials were commercials high-purity chloride base materials of barium chloride dehydrate (BaCl2.2H2O), lanthanum chloride heptahydrate (LaCl3.7H2O), zinc chloride (ZnCl2), manganese (II) chloride dehydrate (MnCl2.2H2O), and ferric (III) chloride hexahydrate (FeCl3.6H2O) synthesized by Merck.
Consequently, it causes a decrease in the anisotropic constant of the M-type barium ferrites materials.

Due to many reasons (mainly sharpness of transported materials) belt covers may be damaged and it may initiate degradation process or straight damages in steel cords.
These include: properties of transported materials (sharp edges of ore lumps), the impact of environmental factors (rain, snow, wide temperature range) and load variations inside belts due to non-stationarity of load stream.
In order to be able to transport materials on the belt, they are designed as a sandwich structure with top and bottom rubber covers and steel cords inside (Fig 1b).
