Analysis of input raw materials.
On the basis of the results obtained during the analysis of raw materials, a total of 5 concrete mixtures were designed, differing from each other only by the percentage substitution of cement with high-temperature fly ash as an active admixture.

Abstract—In the summer of 2010, we performed some on-site measurements to investigate the outdoor air temperature and wind velocity of Happy Homeland, a typical post-earthquake transition settlement of Sichuan.
A lot of design variables contribute to heat island effect, such as urban structure, size of the city, population and density of built-up area, ratio of buildings height to distance between them (Hereinafter referred to as ratio of H-D), width of roads, building materials, surface materials and sky view factor [4].In order to enhance the natural ventilation and reduce the heat island effect in transition settlements, this article proposes planning and design improvement which focuses on raising ratio of H-D, widening width of roads but raising volume fraction as well.

It is based on the decomposition of titanium-containing raw material by sulfuric acid and the hydrolysis of titanyl sulfate.
Using TiOSO4 solution of 230~260 g/L as raw material, titanium dioxide pigments with reproducible properties was prepared by hydrolyzing controlled by nucleation [20].
Our previous work had investigated some hydrolysis factors influence on the structure and pigment properties of TiO2 via self-generated seed process by using concentrated TiOSO4 solution as raw material [22].
