Experimental Materials For the preparation of film, we used PBAT (poly (butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)) produced by BASF, under the brand name: PBAT Ecoflex® F Blend C1200, Orange oil acquired from World of Oils, and Quimex chloroform PA was used as the solvent.
This rheology indicates the internal behavior of the materials [10].
The specific deformation is a measure of the elongation of the material until its rupture [20].

Mini Review: Implementing Gas Sensors in Battery Management Systems for Determining Battery Lifespan
Online since: February 2026
Authors: Muhammad Nizam, Mufti Reza Aulia Putra, Chico Hermanu Brillianto Apribowo
Gas sensors allow for the detection of certain volatile gases released from battery constituent materials upon degradation, such as carbon dioxide (CO₂), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H₂), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Damage to solid materials can trigger hot spots, while the gases formed act as reducing agents, causing structural instability.
Advancements in sensor materials, data processing algorithms, and system integration will continue to enhance the capabilities of gas sensors, addressing the growing need for safe and efficient energy storage devices.

Thirdly, “high technology” is also different from so-called "technology of experience", it is based on scientific discoveries not experience accumulation, the development and application of high technology which represent front or even unknown filed of science and technology include higher failure probability, any technological immaturity, organizing setbacks and capital shortage in the lab experiment, bench scale trial or small-scale production, can lead to failure of the whole project.
Producing Risks Due to spin-off nature and multiple functional purpose of high technology, most of the high-tech spin-offs are miniaturized and usually at exploratory starting up phase, relatively less raw material consumption may increase unit production cost and made the enterprises in disadvantageous bargaining position when making purchases.
Modern science and technology development by leaps and bounds continuously makes people's skills obsolete, talents master up-to-date technology and management skills are always target human resource enterprises fight over, therefore high-tech enterprises face high brain drain risk, e.g., In 2009, dimission rate of high-tech enterprises in China has reached 18.3%, which is the highest in 19 industries investigated, while people engaged in R&D job show even higher dimission rate of 26.6%. The structure diagram of micro-heater and micro temperature sensor of PCR microchip
Using the copper as the material of temperature sensor, the main reason is that copper has stable physical and chemical properties, close to the linear input-output characteristics, and it can be easy to integrate with the double spiral copper micro-heater.
According to the resistance formula of homogeneous material, ,the resistance of flexible snake like copper wire temperature sensor is about 3.14Ω at 20℃.
