The principle of cold-rolling spline using precision cold-rolling forming technique is as below: First, install the smooth shaft billet between the pre and post centre of material squeezing device.
l It shows that not all plastic materials can be used for cold-rolling spline from work piece material test.
This mainly depends on the elongation δof material and hardness.
Only can the material whose elongation δis less than 12% and the hardness is less than 250HBS be rolled for spline with high quality and with good economy.

These systems require expensive materials.
A cheaper system, Cd-Fe redox flow battery, is proposed in the paper, in which almost no expensive materials are needed excluding ion exchange membrane.
Thus, it is evident that the cadmium electrodes can be used as negative active materials for the proposed redox flow cell.

Insulator defects exist as long as there are internal insulation material defects or there is a small gap.
The valve uses zinc oxide as the main material, and adding a small amount of cobalt oxide, manganese oxide, antimony oxide.
Oil-filled transformer is a type of transformer insulation, which uses oil as an insulating material and filled with transformer oil.
Synthetic insulator is high-voltage composite insulators made of silicone rubber, also known as organic composite insulators, rubber insulators or non-porcelain insulators, which are made of synthetic organic materials of composite insulator, mainly composed of core rod, hardware, umbrella skirt of sheath and adhesive layer.

The use of agricultural wastes and natural materials in new technologies is a novel subject.
Work has been carried out on making these fluids completely from bio-based materials so as to make them more eco-friendly, safer and biodegradable.
The use of bio or agro-based materials in modern technology is the new trend for sustainable environment.

Due to many reasons (mainly sharpness of transported materials) belt covers may be damaged and it may initiate degradation process or straight damages in steel cords.
These include: properties of transported materials (sharp edges of ore lumps), the impact of environmental factors (rain, snow, wide temperature range) and load variations inside belts due to non-stationarity of load stream.
In order to be able to transport materials on the belt, they are designed as a sandwich structure with top and bottom rubber covers and steel cords inside (Fig 1b).

The substrate material was 1Cr-11Ni-2W-2Mo-V stainless steel.
In Eq.1, Es and νs are materials constants, hs can be measured with micrometer and hi obtained through weighing and calculating according to the following equation, ( ) ( ) [ ] flost iii hmmmmh ⋅−−= − 0 1 / , (2) where hf is the original thickness of the film in SEM image, m0 the original weight of the one side coated specimen, mlost the weight of the specimen after the film totally stripped, mi-1and mi the weight of the specimen before and after stripping a layer at time i, respectively.
Therefore, the crack initiation was delayed and fatigue characteristic of the coated materials was improved [2, 3, 6, 7].
