Effect of Host Media on Microbial Influenced Corrosion due to Desulfovibrio desulfuricans Ajay K Singh1,a and Suman Lata1,b 1Department of Applied Science & Engineering, IIT Roorke, Saharanpur-247001, India aajaysfpt@iitr.ernet.in, bhellosuman17380@gmail.com Keywords: Microbial influenced corrosion; Desulfovibrio desulfuricans; stainless steels; Sodium chloride; Sea water; Extracellular polymeric substances.
Introduction Sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) Desulfotomaculum are anaerobic and recognized to affect the materials through MIC causing localized attack on stainless steels resulting in their unexpected failure [1].
Corrosion on materials in these media could be due to combined effect of chemicals and the microbes together with the possibility of microbial activity getting influenced by the chemicals present in the media.
Thus, a correlation is expected between MIC of iron and the protein content in the biofilm formed on the corroded material.

Introduction Polysaccharides is an attractive polymeric material to prepare nanoparticles for drug delivery since it is highly stable, safe, non-toxic, hydrophilic, biocompatible and biodegradable [1].
Nanosized material used in drug delivery applications possesses several advantages such as high drug encapsulation efficiency, efficient drug protection against chemical or enzymatic degradation, unique ability to create a controlled release, cell internalization as well as ability to reverse the multidrug resistance of tumor cells [4].
Experimental Materials.
It can be concluded that CL-GA nanoparticles have the potential to be used as a biopolymeric material for drug delivery.

Roadway Hard Rock Loose Blasting by Digging Machine Technique Ju-gen FU1, a, Rui-xuan LUAN1, a, Yan-ting ZHANG1, a 1Anhui University of Science & Technology, Huainan Anhui, 232001,China aemail: jgfu@aust.edu.cn Key words: digging machines; hard rock; roadway; loose blasting Abstract.
When the blast hole block length is too short, the plug material will out of the blast holes prematurely , so that the detonation gas would not achieve the "gas wedge", affect the blasting effects; When the plug material is too long, it will not only increase the workload of blockage, affect the speed of construction but also will lead the cracks cannot reach to the orifice rock, so orifice rock cannot reach the purpose of loosening, so mechanized mining machine does not work, affecting the normal production of coal.
According to the literature , the maximum plug length is: (5) Where: is the Blast hole radius; is the friction coefficient of clogging materials and blast hole wall, for the clay; for a mixture of sand and clay; is lateral pressure coefficient, related to the material’s Poisson’s ratio,.

Measurement of the Incident Sound Power in Ducts and Effect factors Analysis Zhao Hai-jun1,a ,Deng Zhao-xiang2,b 1 Department of Mechanical Engineering, Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology, Luoyang 471023, China 2 State Key Laboratory of Automotive NVH and safety control,Chongqing 400039, China ahjzhaoly@sina.com, bzxdeng@equ.edu.cn Keywords: Incident sound power, Effect factor, Two-microphone method Abstract: Based on two-microphone transfer function method, the measuring method of incident sound power in duct is introduced, The special test equipment is built, and the test and measurement program of incident sound power in duct is written, and effect factors of measurement are analyzed.
The method was used to measure sound absorption coefficient, acoustic impedance of materials and transmission loss of mufflers.
Two material specimens were tested using the two methods, the results of the analytical and numerical uncertainty methods showed good agreement [4].
When M is 0, it is a condition with no flow, acoustic characteristics of materials and mufflers are often tested in this condition.

These disadvantages can be elimnated by application of water-tight concrete, where the water-tightness is guaranteed by the material itself.
Because the document is a translation of an Austrian directive, different input materials are required for standardized concrete, for example cement without C3A.
Technical regulations are elaborated based on knowledge of science, technology and practice.

Introduction As an important node of cold chain logistics, cold store creates the appropriate conditions of humidity and low temperature, which is mainly for the processing and storage of perishable food, industrial raw materials, biological products and medical supplies.
Furthermore, the integrated use of a variety of modern technologies is able to decrease transactional works in those aspects to the greatest extend, improve the synthetical management ability of materials, and guarantee the related personnel’s safety.
The comprehensive application of science and technology makes it possible for the safety management of cold store to turn from the traditional experience management modes and advances to the scientification and modernization [3].
