Those are tested to different failures, which have been classified into three general types: (i) design, process or material defects causing early failures - i.e., infant mortality (detected by HASS); (ii) failures caused by the product weakness for external stressors – i.e., useful life (detected by HALT); (iii) failures due to the gradual wearout of the product – i.e., end-of-life (detected by HALT) [10].
