Introduction
High hardness and high strength cutting materials, such as hardened steel, have become an important research topic in industry and academia.
One type of cutting tool suitable for difficult materials is ceramic cutting tool.
Yi et al [21] prepared self-lubricating ceramic materials with nano-calcium fluoride (CaF2) as solid lubricant by vacuum hot pressing process.
Workpiece material.

For example, in Table 1 consider the potential levels for the first item “Intelligent Materials”, which varies from one (passive material) to four (totally adaptable material), four being the maximum potential for this trend.
Case Study Currently, optical fiber products have small dimensions (160x130x55mm) and some are manufactured with thermoplastic materials, which have a lower cost when compared to metallic materials.
To understand the data shown in Table 2, consider that for the first TE – “intelligent materials”, the product received a grade equivalent to 1/4.
This means that it was classified as a “passive material”, that is, grade one, considering that the maximum potential would be four if it was classified as “totally adaptable material”.

Thus, the sub-zero treatment transformed from the "black-art" to the accepted topic of science.
In addition, Gavriljuk et al. [7] used powder metallurgy steel while conventional cast and wrought materials were used in other cited works.

The maximum tensile strength (critical stress) of SS 304 material is ~ 515 MPa, [21] hence, the chamber can sustain ultra high vacuum.
This material is able to withstand high temperature and is vacuum compatible.
It is an interesting observation and has scope in fusion science and astrophysical research.
Acknowledgments We would like to thank Board of Research in Fusion Science & Technology (BRFST) for funding the project.
