The new technology as a media manifests itself in the product of architectural design—the building—through enhanced “intelligence” of the materials from which buildings are made, and by facilitating their responsiveness and adaptability to changing needs [6].
Some have suggested a smart space that responds to the dweller’s needs and desires by adjusting lighting, temperature, and even ambient music, as described in the science fiction of the twentieth century [5].

Abstract.
Ni-Mn-Ga based ferromagnetic shape memory alloys (FSMAs) have emerged as a promising class of active materials capable of producing a large (up to 10%) magnetic-field-induced strain (MFIS).
Under application of a mechanical stress, the material may undergo plastic strain by stress-induced twin-boundary motion.
Z or ( )Eρ is the acoustic impedance of the material [21,22,24].

Surrounded by the mostly immobile uranium cations, the oxygen anions are forced into a jammed or arrested state that is not unlike that in glasses [32] and granular materials [39] above Tα.
