This influence essentially depends on the methods of preparation and treatment of materials, resulting in different contents of lattice defects, and it especially manifests itself under the so-called thermal-hydrogen treatment and hydrogen induced hardening of a number of metallic materials [19,20], including palladium and palladium-based alloys.
The experimental methods of studying dislocation-type hydrogen traps and their influence on the apparent characteristics of hydrogen solubility and diffusivity in metallic materials are described in [21,22].

Alloying of NiAl and FeAl has been an important aspect of improving the properties of the materials based on NiAl and FeAl [3, 6, 7].
Hence, knowledge of mechanisms and data of diffusion is of utmost importance in NiAl family of materials.

The computational modeling attempts to simulate physical phenomena using systematic tools that involve engineering, mathematics and computer sciences.
The first reason concerns the cost for build the device, once lower amount of material is required for the configuration L = λ/4 than for L = λ/2.
