Materials and Methods In order to synthesise TiO2-NF’s the electrospun (also called electrospinning) technique was employed, following closely the method reported by Li [22] but with some modifications in both the titanium molecular precursor and in the amount of PVP used.
This minimum Eg value can be due to the disorder in the anatase-rutile mixed crystalline system, which reduces the band gap energy in a similar way as has been reported for other materials [29].
