Experimental The Ni-40.2Cr alloy used in this investigation was prepared using Ar-arc melting from commercially pure Ni and Cr metals as starting materials (99.99% purity).
In addition to these alloys the barrier coating of Re-based alloy was found to improve oxidation resistant of high temperature materials such as Co-based alloys and Stainless steels.
